Regulations

Piła, Poland 19–26th August 2012

ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS

1.
Music Festival & Master Class is open for teenagers over 16 years old.

2.
Each participant is obliged to prepare two pieces of music of his choice to perform during the concerts. One to the accompaniment of a piano and one solo.

3.
Each violinist candidate (excluding violists, cellists and bassists) is obliged to send a DVD presentation of two 3–4 minutes pieces of music. (concerts, festivals, exams records are acceptable) to the following address:

4.
Musical presentation on DVD and entry form should be sent by 22th June 2012.
The DVD should be described in the following way:
– full name,
– instrument,
– titles of  music works,
– composer.

5.
The cost of participation in the Music Festival & Master Class:
– active participant 350 €.

6.
The Music Festival & Master Class selection is done by the lecturers. After receiving confirmation of qualifying to Music Festival & Master Class the participants shall send entrance fee by 10th July 2012 to the following account:

7.
Yoga on Music Festival & Master Class – sportswear.

8.
Entrance fee includes:
– 4 masters consultations,
– full board accommodation in double rooms in Dom Studenta PWSZ im. Stanisława Staszica in Piła, ul. Żeromskiego 14,
– admission to accompanying concerts,
– practice with the accompanist,
– practice halls,
– yoga classes,
– two professional advice meetings with a master connected with introduction to jazz improvisation,
– participation in Master Class orchestra and a general concert with professors.

9.
An active participant is obliged to take part in Music Festival & Master Class students’ concerts.  On the basis of the concert productions and consultations the circle of professors will single out the Musical Personalities and award them Grand Prix of the Review.

10.
Laureates of music individualistic will be given high financial awards endowed by MAGNUS VENTUS association, and Grand Prix MASTER CLASS winner will receive a financial prize, occasional silver statue and participation in solo concerts with the best Polish orchestras.

11.
Previous editions’ Grand Prix winners cannot compete again for Grand Prix or the Musical Personality.

12.
The prizewinners singled out by the circle of professors will perform during the Winners’ Concert. All the winners are obliged to free participation in the Winners’ Concert.

13.
Music Festival & Master Class students waive copyright to the records made during the Review. The Organizers become copyright owners and reserve the right to radio/television broadcast and rebroadcast.

14.
Should any disputes arise in view thereof, the only reliable source is the Polish version of the Rules and Regulations. Music Festival & Master Class Director decides on all the organization matters.

 

PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS

1.
Students, teachers, all who want to plumb the mysteries of  playing the  stringed instruments.

2.
The cost of participation in the International Masters Music Review Music Festival & Master Class:
– passive participant 200 €.

3.
Entrance fee includes:
– passive participation in consultations
– full board accommodation in double rooms in Dom Studenta PWSZ im. Stanisława Staszica in Piła,
ul. Żeromskiego 14,
– admission to concerts,
– yoga classes.

4.
All the documents required to apply shall be sent no later than 22th June 2012.

5.
The participants shall send entrance fee by 10th July 2012 to the following account:
