Bartłomiej Nizioł Bartłomiej Nizioł
Born in 1974, in Szczecin. Started playing the violin at the age of five. He graduated with distinction from Akademia Muzyczna w Poznaniu under prof. Jadwiga Kaliszewska. He is the first prize winner at international violin competitions  in Lublin, Poznań, Adelaide, Pretoria, Brussels and Paris.

Bartłomiej Nizioł has been awarded „Fryderyk” for recording Henryk Wieniawski and Grażyna Bacewicz’s works. In 2007 he has recorded all sonatas for violin solo Eugène Ysaÿe’s. As a soloist he has performed with National Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, NOSPR in Katowice, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, NDR in Hannover, SWR in Keiserslautern, Radio France in Paris, English Chamber, London Symphony, Tonhalle in Zurich, Edmonton Symphony and many more. He has played concerts in breathtaking halls in Paris - Salle Pleyel, London - Barbican Center, Berlin – Concert Hall, Tokio – Santory Hall, Vienna – Konzerthaus, Moscow – Music Conservatory. He has lived in Switzerland since 1995. Between 1997 and 2003 he has been the first instrumentalist in Tonhalle orchestra and since 2003 he has been the first instrumentalist in Zürich Opera Orchestra. Since September 2008 violin professor in Hochschule der Knute in Berlin.
Bartłomiej Nizioł has been the juror at H. Wieniawski International Competition in Poznań. Currently he plays Antonio Stradivarius „Aurea” from 1715 and Giuseppe Guarneri (del Gesù) from 1727. On December 18th 2009 Bartłomiej Nizioł, Xiaoming Wang, David Greenlees and Alexander Neustroev form Berlinsky Quartett. After the successful debut in Zürich the artists are planning a series of concerts in Poland Russia, England and China as well as recording the CD with The Beethoven Quartet and The Shostakovich Quartet.
